✨ The Soft Life Is Earned – June Reflections from Lanae
There was a moment—sometime after my second home birth, in between diaper changes, breastfeeding marathons, and barely-there showers, when I realized something big:
I don’t think I’ve ever truly paused.
Not after I got out of the military.
Not after earning my degree.
Not after giving birth to my babies.
And definitely not while raising three children, homeschooling, and building a business from my kitchen table.
Everything I’ve done these last few years has been poured from a place of deep love, deep endurance, and deep faith—but not always deep peace. And that’s what this season is about.
Peace. Softness. Community.
Reclaiming my time, my energy, and my creativity.
It hasn’t been easy. The trials of motherhood don’t pause just because you have big dreams. And the trials of womanhood? Whew. We carry so much in silence. But I’m learning how to unlearn the isolation. I’m learning how to ask for help. I’m learning that I was never meant to do any of this alone.
And neither were you.
“We’re not meant to mother in isolation. We’re meant to mother in community.”
That’s why I created LanaeKiamber.com
That’s why I created Mama Needs Peace. That’s why I opened this space—for mothers like us who are still figuring it out while still showing up, beautifully and imperfectly.
We’re allowed to build slowly.
We’re allowed to rest.
We’re allowed to want more.
💌 So here’s your invitation:
If you’ve been craving connection, sisterhood, and space to just be—you belong here.
Join The Mother’s Circle, my free community for moms who are healing, growing, and softening together. You’ll find love notes like this, cozy meditations by me, seasonal themes, and a circle of women who get it.
Because we’re not meant to mother in isolation.
We’re meant to mother in community.
